The Office Girl

March 10, 2012

It has been a while since I had taken a good picture of myself. I'm  actually more of a smiley smile girl when it comes to picture taking. Why? Because I look like shit when I don't smile. Haha. Though I find this shot pretty nice. Whatchathink?

Vintage!

The matindi-ang-skiat-ng-araw face. :D

Office girl ang peg. I wanted to pair this top with a skirt but my fugly big thighs and legs won't allow me. So I'd stick to wearing pants. Hihi. Can you guess where am I? :) Yes I'm at SMX. This day, I went to another bridal fair. Haha. I'm not getting tired of attending bridal fairs! But this time, I was with my mom.

There were "No picture taking" all around the place so I did not dare taking pictures. I just had pictures of me taken.

"The office girl."
Romwe top, Blanc Noir pants, Find n Flaunt shoes, Mendrez bag

My mom told me that she heard a lot of ladies saying, "Ang ganda ng shoes niya." I didn't hear any of those but I'd like to tell them, "Bili po kayo sa online shop ko." :D This was my very first time wearing a pair of heels this high. Yes, you heard me right. It is so ironic that I sell these kind of shoes yet this was my first time to wear one. Haha. I'm not really into heels because I can't stand for a long time wearing those. I have a heavy feet or should I say I'm heavy. When I started selling these kind of shoes, I was already pregnant. Even if I was drooling over those lovely shoes, I've got no time to wear one until this day. To my wonder, my feet didn't hurt even we walked around for about 5 hours. Whew. I also didn't imagine we stayed that long there.

Now, I'm having a hard time which Find n Flaunt shoes I'm gonna own next! Can't decide when there are lots to choose from!

It's a Date!

February 18, 2012. Another late post.

Weeks before February 18, I decided to attend the bridal fair and I asked my boyfriend to accompany me. February 18 came and I started my day early so that by the time boyfriend arrives at our house, I'd be ready to go. While he was on his way to our place, I received a text from him greeting me a happy monthsary. Oh boy!  Days just pass me by that I don't even know what date is it already. I forgot that it was our monthsary. It had been a long time since we've been together during our monthsary so our monthsary had become a normal day for me.

He arrived at around 10 or 11 and he gave me this:

So sweet, thoughtful and creative of boyfriend. :)

We left the house after lunch. This was our first time going to SM Megamall together. This was also my first time to go to SM Megamall from Cavite. I didn't know how to go there from here so I asked my HS friend Patricia for some directions. We were supposed to ride on a van going to Makati but the van is only available during mornings. We rode a van going to Lawton instead. We stopped at Buendia and rode a bus going to Cubao / SM Megamall. We arrived at SM Megamall at around 3pm.

As soon as we arrived there, I was already hungry. We had our merienda at Wendy's.

Baconator and fries
Afterwards, we went to the bridal fair. I already made a post about the bridal fair here.
Fugly faces. Haha

I wished we could watch a movie but it was 5pm already and we need to go home early. I have a baby waiting for me! Before we left, we decided to eat out at Mexicali.

Menu

We were the only customers that time.

Picture picture while waiting for our order. :P

With flash. :P

Salad

Combo 5 : Tacos + Burrito + Quesadillas

This was my first time eating at Mexicali and my first time eating a quesadilla. I was expecting a thicker one like that of Plato Wraps. Didn't know a quesadilla was this thin. Hihi. Nevertheless, it tastes good especially if you put hot sauce and garlic sauce in it. The burrito is well-stuffed. I think this was also my first time eating one. Haha! (There are a lot of foods I haven't tried yet. Haha). I enjoyed eating the salad! I didn't want to stop eating but I was already full. We were very satisfied with our meal. Two thumbs up for Mexicali!

And this is how our day went. I'm so glad we were able to have a "date" once again. :)

Bridal Fair x The Wedding Library

February 18, 2012

Because of the Churp Churp Community, I got to know the event Bridal Fair hosted by the Wedding Library. Uhm, I'm not yet getting married this year but I was giddy giddy to attend this fair just because I haven't tried it yet.  My parents are going to have their church wedding this year in line with their 25th anniversary celebration so this is a good opportunity to canvass for the things needed in a wedding. At the same time, this is also for my future reference. :D

Here are some pictures in the fair...

Love it! Shades if blue/violet.
I want that asymmentrical cake :D

Photo booth pic and album

My bet!

yum yum ~

Invitations

Sorry for the crappy pictures.  :D Before I entered the hall, I asked the security guard if it is allowed to take pictures but one of the gown exhibitors said it is not. Haha. Though, it was alright for some exhibitors. ^_^

There were exhibitors for gowns, cakes, photography, catering services, venues, photo booth, invitations, wedding coordinators, make-up artists, etc. For me, the stressful part (aside from budget) in preparing a wedding is choosing which to pick from these exhibitors. They offer almost the same packages but differ in prices. It is better to know all of the exhibitors first and what each of them are offering then choose the best or the not pricey one.

For those who booked on-the-spot, they received  a great great discount. If I were the one who is getting married this year, then I will book on those exhibitors which caught my attention.

In this bridal fair, I ended up getting all the brochures from each exhibitor. I wished I could get all the details I wanted to ask to some exhibitors but my boyfriend who was with me was somewhat holding me back. He kept on saying "Just check their website/brochure." I think he was not enjoying the thought of us being there.

Anyway, I need to get back on the brochures I have and choose. Wish those companies I'd be picking will also be there in the next bridal fair at SMX so my mother can book on the spot and get a great discount offer.
But... there would be another set of exhibitors which can also offer better packages. In the end, it is my mom who is going to choose! HAHA
